Quality Management is vital to our company as it further commits the company to continual improvement and effectiveness. This ultimately leads to customer satisfaction, one of our key business goals. We have established a Quality Management System (QMS) that provides a framework for measuring and improving our performance.

The following systems and procedures are in place:

 

• Regular gathering and monitoring of customer feedback

• A customer complaints procedure

• Training and development for our employees

• Regular audit of our internal processes

• Measurable quality objectives which reflect our business aims

• Management reviews of audit results, customer feedback and complaints 

 

 

We strive to provide our customers with services that meet and exceed expectations, hence continual improvement and refinement of our QMS is an ongoing process. Though the Director has ultimate responsibility, all employees have a role to ensure that quality is embedded throughout the entire company.

 

RA Drilling Pty Ltd is currently under review by an independent body for the ISO 9001:2008 - Quality Management Systems accreditation. 

Occupational Health and Safety Management System

Environmental Management System

Across all aspects of our business, minimising environmental impact is of utmost importance. We are committed to operating an effective Environmental Management System (EMS) to ensure we comply with all relevant Australian Standards, State and National Regulations and contract conditions. We have adopted the principles of ISO 14001 as the framework for our EMS. This international standard is recognised worldwide as the most effective and efficient means to implement an EMS. The overall aim of the international Standard is to support environmental protection and prevention of pollution.

 

Our EMS is designed to meet the following goals:

 

• Ensure compliance by meeting or exceeding all applicable environmental laws, regulations, policies and other requirements 

• Strive to continually improve environmental performance in terms of both regulated and unregulated environmental impacts (e.g. energy and resource conservation)

• Provide for a safe and healthy work environment so that our employees are enabled to participate in improving our environmental performance

• Development of environmental objectives and targets

• Implementation of plans to meet the objectives and targets 

 

The scope of our EMS includes all business activities involving vacuum excavation, operational activities and administration. 

The success of the system requires a commitment from all employees of the company.

 

RA Drilling Pty Ltd is currently under review by an independent body for the ISO 14001:2014 - Environmental Management Systems accreditation. 

We are committed to the prevention of injury, ill health and continual improvement in Occupational Health and Safety Management. Our aim is to provide a safe, healthy and secure working environment for all staff and contractors. To achieve this goal, every employee has a responsibility for ensuring that their actions do not adversely affect the health, safety and welfare of themselves, colleagues and third parties. We have implemented an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS).

 

This is achieved by:

 

• Implementing and maintaining a framework that ensures the systematic management of health and safety throughout the business

• Complying with legal and other requirements that relate to OH&S hazards

• Setting measurable objectives and targets aimed at controlling high risk activities and increasing awareness of health and safety

 

We endorse a proactive health and safety management philosophy based on effective communication and consultation, the systematic identification, assessment and control of hazards.

 

RA Drilling Pty Ltd is currently under review by an independent body for the AS/NZS 4801:2001 - Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems accreditation.
